Well, I havn´t been posting in a while. I have been busy with other things, such as touring the Icelandic countryside. Good stuff. But today I completed this illustration.
It's supposed to function as a kind of emblem for this thing called "The Quarterly Art Soirée" at Webster Hall in NYC , which is this artist venue. Very cool.
Luckily the guy who commisioned it is a good friend of mine, and he gave me free reins to do whatever I wanted. Which, in hindsight, might not have been the best idea. But as it turns out, I really enjoyed making this piece, and I am quite pleased with how it turned out.
Also worth noting, I made good use of the new mixer brush feature in photoshop CS5. Cool tool.
